Latest from Lilywhites Online...
RHYL manager John Hulse knows there will be no need to motivate his players when they take on Llanelli at Belle Vue tomorrow (Tuesday).
Hulse said the team will not only have the incentive of requiring just a point to secure a UEFA Cup spot - they will also be ultra keen to wipe out the memories of a 6-0 loss at Stebonheath Park back in September.
RHYL strikers Andy Moran and Lee Hunt are now both in the all-time top 30 list of Welsh Premier League goalscorers.
Moran is 21st with 89 goals and Hunt 26th on 79, 19 of those coming in Bangor City colours. Another current Rhyl forward, Paul Roberts, is 14th on 112 but only one of those has been in a Lilywhites shirt.

WELSH PREMIER LEAGUE

WITHOUT a big wind to help them Caersws were simply blown away by a rampant Rhyl side determined to make second place their own.
John Hulse's men now need just a point from their remaining two games to secure a fully deserved runners-up spot. Saturday's win has already clinched the Lilywhites a place in European competition for a fourth successive season.
RHYL Reserves lost the leadership of the Welsh Alliance League after Denbigh Town earned a 1-0 victory at Bethesda Athletic.
Ex-Rhyl winger Kenny Burgess' 57th minute goal was enough to put Town top on goal difference with a game in hand.

Welsh Premier League - Saturday 2.30pm
SKIPPER George Horan and fellow defender Chris Roberts will be back in the Rhyl squad for tomorrow's crucial home tussle with Caersws.
Horan missed last Saturday's trip to Carmarthen through suspension while Roberts was out due to a groin strain.
RHYL RESERVES 1 HOLYWELL TOWN 1
RHYL'S Welsh Alliance title hopes took a severe jolt when they could only draw with Holywell at Belle Vue - and it would have been even worse had Mitchell Booth not scored a 90th minute equaliser.
Second-placed Denbigh Town are now in the driving seat, needing seven points from their final three matches to make sure of the championship.
TOTTERING TNS suffered another stumble in their quest to clinch the Welsh Premier League championship when they lost 1-0 at Welshpool Town on Tuesday night.
Ken McKenna's Saints were expected to seal the title on Saturday when they faced lowly Caernarfon Town at Treflan, but crashed to a stunning 3-1 defeat.

RHYL assistant manager Neil Young believes the state of the pitch at Carmarthen on Saturday did nothing to justify the argument supporting Summer football.
Richmond Park was rock-hard and so dusty one onlooker described it as "like something from an African desert".

FA CUP THIRD ROUND PROPER - JANUARY 2, 1971

THE turn of the new decade brought Rhyl one of their frequent runs in the FA Cup and after having disposed of Hartlepool in the first round and then Barnsley 2-0 at Old Trafford after draws at Oakwell and Belle Vue, the Lilywhites awaited the third round draw with considerable interest.
But a glamour tie at one of the first division’s big guns evaded them and a trip to the Vetch Field to take on third division Swansea was Dick Jones’ side’s reward.

DESPITE missing key players Rhyl should have taken maximum points at Richmond Park but paid the price for poor finishing.
On a rock-hard, dust bowl of a pitch described by one onlooker as "resembling something from an African desert", John Hulse's men failed to take full advantage of slip-ups by leaders TNS and third-placed Connah's Quay.
