As it stands: Rhyl's hopes of a European place are very slim after last nights results, The 2 points lost at home to Aberystwth due to an incredibly bad decision by the referee, looks to have cost Rhyl a fortune in revenue.

All referee's are going to make bad decisions from time to time, but to make such a mistake and then blow the whistle as Rhyl are about to take a corner is beyond a joke.

I feel sorry for everyone involved with the club; players, fans and officials. Greg Strong has done an unbelievable job considering the circumstances, i think Rhyl are lucky to have kept together the team they presently have.

I dont know what the situation is for next season regarding players, i hope Rhyl are able to keep the team together, but being realistic: i think many players will be moving on.

COME BACK PETER PARRY!!

Europe depends simply on 3 things

1) We win both games

2) TNS at least draw at Aber

3) Talbot win the Cup

As long as bangor dont win their final game by five goals, that will give us 4th place and a place in the Europa Cup.

I've heard a whisper that Mark Connolly could be Wrexham bound next season.

All sorts of whispers will be doing the rounds about who's going where next season about now. Still, I remember your past whispers have been pretty good David.

Just thanks to Conno and all the players who stuck with us. We understand the situation. Hopefully many will be here next season. Otherwise good luck unless it's with bangor.

To be honest, can't even fault those like Reed and Brewie who went to bangor when it seemed there was no place for them here.

Just hope that there will be early announcements re next season, not the usual silence and rumour
