By Dave Jones on Mar 5, 10 04:00 AM

Outstanding home record - but lose against a weakened side - be lucky to get fourth!

Easy to be smart after the event isn't it. Still a good home record though, played ok yesterday just couldn't score but after scoring so many in recent games there's always going to be an off-day.
Considering all players they've lost Rhyl are doing ok, don't need faceless knockers sticking the boot in.

There's no way anybody should be knocking this side.
Its a very young side that's battling every week and holding its own against most sides. Given what's happened this season and the players we've lost from last season's title winners we should be grateful we're not in the bottom half of the league

good shout craig it is going to be a great season next season to see these young players play together week in and week out lets hope we can keep them all its a shame about young paul smith he would be fantasic with this young side come on you whites

Without a doubt these are exciting times for the lilywhites and I share my fellow bloggers optimism and enthusiasum for the future of this young side. But can anyone really forsee what the furure holds, will any of them be with us next season? With no financial backing in sight and vultures flying above, we may be privallaged to watch this talent but for a few more matches?

i agree jdh week in and week out scouts attend our matches looking for talent but with greg in charge they dont have to look far cos in my mind greg is the best manager around for spotting these young boys and thats going to be hard to keep him next season aswell as the team together strongy for manager of the season

JDH said:

No manager in the WPL either this season or last has worked under such conditions, not once but twice this season has he virtually had to re-shape his side. If he does not win manager of the season then there is no justice in football. I agree, the big battle will be to hang on to him as well as the exciting talent he has assembled.
