MORE COMINGS AND GOINGS
RHYL player-manager Greg Strong has made five signings in the transfer window - and resisted a late bid for one of his star strikers.
Strong has captured young defenders Andy Owens and Andy Pearson from Altrincham, as well as former Salford City player Russell Courtney, who can play at centre-half or centre-forward, Joe Dixon, a winger who joins from Lancashire and Cheshire Amateur League side Chorltonians AFC and Philip Ojapah, a loan recruit from Oldham Athletic.
International clearance is still awaited on Courtney and Dixon.
The Lilywhites have also revealed Conference North club AFC Telford United made a determined effort to sign Matthew Williams, but the striker is staying put.
The good news following the decisions of John Leah and Mark Connolly to stay at the club.
On their way from Belle Vue are Lee Hunt, who joins Bangor City, Greg Stones, who has signed for Colwyn Bay and George Horan, on whom news is awaited.

Wow, now that is what you call 'transfer activity' can anyone explain if we are supposedly 'broke' who's paying all these new players?
Quite an achievement that.
Cut costs by releasing 3 players and then sign 5 new ones to take their place. And lets not forget we signed Rob Turner only 3 weeks ago.
Can only assume Hunt, Horan & Stones were 3 of the biggest wage earners and losing them has freed up a lot of cash.
I think of the 3 Horan is a big loss and Stones not far behind. Hunty's season has been a real mixed bag of good games, poor games and suspended games. Can't really say his return has been a successful one.
Totally agree Craig, will be a big 'ask' for Ojapah to fill George's boots. Stones had settled well into the wing back roll and added a bit of consistency to his game recently. As for Hunt a disappointing return to Belle Vue, thought his body language all wrong this season and of course his time spent on the sidelines through suspensions has obviously irked Strong. Greg's record so far in signing players of quality has been very good and I look forward to seeing these new additions in action although 'bedding' them in quickly will test his skill as a manager I feel.
Wow, lots of comings and goings. Well we will see what happens.
Totally trust Greg on this and im sure they will prove to be good signings!!
Apparently another new player (Lee Ebden) joins as well, any details on him Dave? Looks like I was right about Andrew Pearson way back last Saturday! well spotted on the Alty website. lol. ;-)
League One clubs? Who are you trying to kid? Ebden was released before he was signed because he was too out of shape and not up to playing at this level.
Which League One clubs were after him, The Pig and Whistle Sunday League Division One?
