RHYL have signed former non-league star Philip Ojapah from Oldham Athletic on loan for the rest of the season, reports the website www.low.org.uk
The midfielder was handed his first chance in League football by the Latics, who offered him a 12-month professional contract in August.
He joined from FC Liverpool, having impressed enough in a 10-day trial at Boundary Park to convince boss Dave Penney he had the potential to cut it in League One.
Ojapah, 19, earned rave reviews during his spell on Merseyside but he has not featured in the first team with the Latics so he will be hoping to gain some first team experience with Greg Strong's Lilywhites.
He is available for Rhyl's Welsh Cup match at Belle Vue against Pontardawe on Saturday, so Rhyl fans could see him feature at some stage tomorrow.

International clearance must come through quickly these days.

We can't afford to get thrown out of the Cup

Never thought of that Ffred, this story came directly off the Welsh Premier official website, I've had no information from the club. I'm sure no possible risk would be taken.

I take my hat off to Strongy. He's been dealt a real bum deal by the club and no one could blame him if he walked away but he's clearly working hard to keep things moving forward.

Keep up the good work. We're all 100% behind you

Saw something on the net linking Rhyl to defender Andrew Pearson who has been released by Altrincham FC. Coincidently, Rhyl target Peter Doran has replaced him apparently. Also states on Alty's website that Wrexham have signed Luke Holden on-loan for the rest of the season?

Something on BBC sport about Holden and Wrexham too Rob, good luck to him.
