BAD NIGHT ALL ROUND
RHYL also lost the leadership of the Welsh Premier League tonight after Llanelli went top on goal difference following a 7-1 thrashing of Caersws at Stebonheath Park.
Next up for Caersws is a trip to Belle Vue on Saturday for a game which will be seen as an ideal opportunity for Rhyl to rediscover their scoring touch.
In tonight's other League Cup semi-final first leg tussle Port Talbot and TNS drew 0-0 at the GenQuip Stadium.
