LILYWHITES ARE A MAJOR BOGEY SIDE FOR QUAY

By Dave Jones on Oct 29, 09 01:02 AM

IF Gap Connah's Quay are to prevent Rhyl reaching the Loosemores Cup final next month they will need to end a run of 18 matches without a win over the Lilywhites.
Prior to 2003/04, the Nomads were a big bogey side for Rhyl but the tables have turned completely in recent years.
The Lilies have won their last 13 matches in all competitions against the Deesiders and 16 of the last 18 with two draws.
In the Welsh Premier League overall, though, Quay still lead by 14 wins to 13 with four matches drawn.
