INJURY CONCERNS FOR RHYL

Broken nose: George Horan

LOOSEMORES LEAGUE CUP GROUP FOUR
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 7.30pm

RHYL, who sit top of Group Four with a 100% record, have casualty concerns ahead of their home meeting with Airbus UK Broughton this evening.
Skipper George Horan suffered a broken nose in Saturday's bruising clash at Newtown and is unlikely to play, while Matthew Williams and Gareth Owen are also doubts after picking up knocks at Latham Park.
Joint leading scorer Lee Hunt starts a three-match ban after his red card on Saturday, so the likes of Phil Doran, Paul Smith and Shaun Dowling could make a start at Belle Vue.
"We know a draw will probably see us through, but we set ourselves very high standards and that means going out to win every game," said Lilywhites player manager Greg Strong.
Airbus boss Craig Harrison, whose team cannot progress as they have just one point from three games, will continue with his policy of giving first team fringe players a run out in the Loosemores Cup.
"It's a fantastic playing surface at Belle Vue and we know Rhyl will put out a strong side as they have a relatively small squad, so it's a excellent match for our younger players and players on the first team fringes to play in," said Harrison.
