DANNY WILLIAMS SIGNS FOR DROYLSDEN
A KEY member of Rhyl's championship winning squad last season has joined a club in the English pyramid.
Danny Williams, a class act in the Lilywhites midfield last term, has signed for Conference North outfit Droylsden.
Williams was a Welsh under-21 international and has made a total of 280 football league appearances for Wrexham, Bristol Rovers and Doncaster.
The departure of Williams signifies the latest fragment in the break-up of Rhyl's Welsh Premier title winning squad.
Players to have left Belle Vue this summer include Chris Roberts, Paul O'Neill, Jamie Reed, Josh Johnson, Craig Jones, Michael Jones, Gareth Wilson, Carl Owen and now Danny Williams.
The only major additions so far have been John Leah, Martyn Naylor and Lee Hunt.
Meanwhile, Stuart Graves, a member of Rhyl's 2003/04 quadruple-winning squad, has also joined Droylsden from Bradford Park Avenue.
