with Greg Stones as utility cover and our new striker starting on the bench with a couple of reserves whose team has been disbanded ! Naylor or Conno trying to get forward, and sherbon often being wasted wide. The bad news is what happens when injuries and suspensions come in. Of course 2 or 3 more good signings and someway of progressing young players will change the situation and make the prospects much brighter.
I would imagine Naylor at right back and Stones at left back, though pre season form could change that.
Don't lets get hung up on 2 wingers again. We won plenty of games last season with a narrow midfield and Barca have just won everything playing without genuine wingers.
What we do need is options of the bench and with injuries. Something quite clearly lacking at the moment
