NO DATE RESCHEDULED FOR LLANELLI GAME
CONTRARY to rumours a new date for the potential title deciding clash at Stebonheath Park between Llanelli and Rhyl has not been set.
The original game was due to be played last month but the big freeze meant it was postponed.
Word has been circulating that the match has been rescheduled for February 28, but the WPL and both clubs have agreed that staging it then would lessen the significance of the game with the Welsh Cup quarter-finals also taking place that day.
It is felt that because the teams are the main contenders in the Welsh Premier title race, it would be better to arrange the fixture for towards the end of the season with live TV coverage a distinct possibility.
