PERMANENT DEAL FOR KEEPER JONES
GOALKEEPER Michael Jones' loan deal with Rhyl has been extended till the end of the season.
The ex-Wrexham shot-stopper's transfer from Northwich Victoria to the Lilywhites was completed this afternoon.
Jones, who made nine first team appearances for Wrexham over four seasons before being released last year, was initially signed as cover after Rhyl's regular keeper Lee Kendall received a three-match suspension.
But now with Kendall getting a longer 10-game ban, the Lilies have acted by securing Jones until the end of July.
Jones, nicknamed Carrots, has played two matches for Rhyl so far, conceding just one goal and impressing in both performances.

Best of luck to him
Maxwell was probably the one who impressed most at BV
There have been way too many distasteful comments sent to this blog of late, mainly from supporters of other clubs but also one or two from Rhyl. We'd like to think we've set high standards over the past two years and we won't let them drop. Any personal attacks on Rhyl players or officials or unreasonable comments about other clubs sent to Lilywhites Online will be deleted as soon as possible. Even when I'm not logged on I have 'spies' who inform me if they see anything untoward so sorry derogatory posters, your five minutes of fame is always likely to be short lived. Thanks to all those who continue to support this blog with interesting and lively comment. You will always be welcome.
Totally agree Dave, lets keep comments relevant, constuctive and sensible to whats going on at Belle Vue,by all means lets offer personnal opinions but silly tastless comments are not welcomed. Thank goodness our core bloggers stick to this it is as usual just a couple of 'guest' ones that are not appreciated.
