MIDFIELDER Mark Connolly's proposed loan move to Colwyn Bay is off.
Connolly remains a contracted player with the Lilywhites.
The 24-year-old came to Rhyl from Bangor City in 2005 and has been one of the Lilywhites' most consistent players since.
Great from dead ball situations, he was the star of Rhyl's summer UEFA Cup ties against Bohemian, scoring two goals in the home leg and his cross also led to Ken Oman's own goal in Dublin.
This season, due to the considerable strengthening of the Lilywhites' squad, Conno has not always been guaranteed a first team place but he remains a vital member of the side with his right-sided attacking qualities.
