KELLY ON HIS WAY?
RHYL midfielder Jimmy Kelly has given permission for Blue Square Conference North club Fleetwood Town to approach him.
Kelly, 35, has been unable to command a regular first team place at Belle Vue this season and turned out for the reserves this afternoon.
The former Wolves and Wrexham player joined Rhyl in the summer of 2007 and made a promising start to last season before injury ended his campaign prematurely.
He recovered well to be ready for the current term but has been pushed out of the first team pecking order.
Early indications are a move to Fleetwood will be completed by December 31.
The Lancashire club signed former Rhyl striker Andy Moran last season and reached the FA Cup second round this term, losing out 3-2 to League One Hartlepool United.
