RHYL AIM FOR SIX IN A ROW

By Dave Jones on Sep 21, 08 02:47 AM

NEATH ATHLETIC v RHYL
WELSH PREMIER LEAGUE
SUNDAY 2.30pm

HAVING established their best ever start to a Welsh Premier season with five straight wins, leaders Rhyl will look to build on their achievement at The Gnoll today.
Opponents Neath are next to bottom, but after leaking goals at an alarming rate at the start of the campaign Andrew Dyer's side have shown a lot of improvement of late.
Rhyl senior coach Allan Bickerstaff had a number of injury niggles to be concerned about this week, Craig Jones and Greg Strong the most doubtful following last Saturday's bruising clash with Haverfordwest.
Last season was Neath's first in the WPL and they did extremely well, finishing seventh. They held Rhyl 1-1 at home but lost 1-0 at Belle Vue.
