LEAGUE CUP TEST
RHYL v WELSHPOOL TOWN
WELSH PREMIER LEAGUE CUP GROUP 5
TUESDAY 7.30pm
HOW do you follow that?
Seventy-two hours after their fabulous 5-1 victory over Llanelli, Rhyl are back in front of their Belle Vue fans tonight for a League Cup tie against Welshpool.
The town is still buzzing after Saturday's demolition of the champions with many supporters labelling the Lilywhites' display their best ever in the Welsh Premier.
Allan Bickerstaff rang the changes for the last League Cup tie and may well do the same this evening with the likes of Paul Pritchard, Gareth Wilson, Chris Roberts, Carl Owen, Paul O'Neill and Jimmy Kelly in line for a start.
Whatever the Lilies produce against Welshpool it is unlikely to match the Llanelli performance, but the priority is three points which would put Bickerstaff's men in a very promising position in their qualifying group.
Tommi Morgan's 'Pool have been a bit of a bogey side for Rhyl in recent times but so were Llanelli and look what happened to them!
