DOUBLE BAN BLOW FOR LILIES
RHYL striker Neil Roberts (pictured) has received a three-match ban following his red card against Aberystwyth Town on Saturday.
Roberts was dismissed for a serious foul after a lunge from behind on Aber defender Aneurin Thomas.
It means Roberts will miss this Saturday's Welsh Cup tie against Castell Alun Colts, next Tuesday's League Cup visit to Welshpool and the Welsh Premier clash with Gap Connah's Quay on October 10.
Meanwhile, Rhyl coach Gary Powell has been handed a four-match ban for remarks made to the referee at the League Cup tie against Airbus UK Broughton at Belle Vue on August 19. The ban commences on October 6.
