PRE-SEASON FRIENDLY - JULY 29, 2008

TWO Mike Roose goals secured a draw for the Reserves at Snowden Avenue in a game they should have won.
Manager Jon Stazicker was delighted at the way his Welsh Alliance team dominated their Cymru Alliance opponents for long periods.
Rhyl took the lead when following neat build up from the back, Keiron Evans burst down the wing and played the ball into Roose who turned sharply and was fouled in the box.
A penalty was awarded and Roose fired into the top corner.
Sam Brewerton had a shot well saved for the visitors before poor marking from a free-kick allowed Isa an equaliser.
Rhyl were soon back in the ascendency, though, Evans crossing, Roose dummying and Brewerton again denied by the keeper. Just before the break Scott Millington's free-kick found Roose on the edge of the area but his shot was cleared off the line. Half time: 1-1.
After the break Roose blasted just wide and Gareth Hughes was denied by a good save before the hosts took the lead when Jamie Jones could not hold a powerful shot and the rebound was converted.
Rhyl would not be denied, though, and that man Roose bent a classy free-kick into the top corner from 20 yards to level matters.
The final whistle blew on a pleasing 2-2 draw and Stazicker commented: "We gave away two soft goals, but showed plenty of strength and produced some great football.
"Just like at Llandyrnog, we dominated all the play apart from a 10-minute period in the first half. A very good performance from the lads and I thought we deserved a win."
RHYL RESERVES: Jamie Jones, Ben Bucknall, Tom Roberts, Chris Evans, Sean Morgan, Keiron Evans, James Hay, Jack Roberts, Scott Millington, Sam Brewerton, Mike Roose. Subs: Phil Graham, Tom Patel, Adam France, Gareth Hughes.
