OWEN JOINS TONIGHT - OTHER BIG SIGNINGS IN THE PIPELINE

By Dave Jones on Jul 10, 08 10:24 PM

STRIKER Carl Owen has signed for Rhyl tonight - and the Lilywhites are chasing more high profile players.
The 28-year-old front man joins the Lilies after eight years at Porthmadog. Owen switched to Port from Bangor City in November 2000.
He was the Traeth club's top scorer in each of his first five seasons and netted 47 WPL goals in 121 full appearances for the Eifionydd outfit.
Quick and sharp in the box, Owen also works hard to hold the ball up and set up others. He represented the Welsh semi-professional team in the summer of 2004.
Rhyl managing director Dave Milner has also stated there are more big signings in the pipeline, following the arrival of Neil Roberts and Gareth Owen at Belle Vue. More details to follow.

How could have I forgotten! Yes they should and now they are Jon. No, not even an inkling about the "big signings" and if I had I wouldn't speculate too early as other sites with no connection to Rhyl would pick up on them and steal my thunder.
