BAY TONIGHT - OLDHAM TOMORROW
RHYL play the first of two friendlies in a 24-hour time span tonight when they entertain North Wales coast neighbours Colwyn Bay at Belle Vue (7.30pm).
Much interest surrounds the team the Lilywhites will put out with senior coach Allan Bickerstaff playing his cards close to his chest, but the calibre of some of the players seen training with the club in the past week suggests the game could be well worth watching.
Unibond League Division One side Bay are now managed by Steve Pope, who replaced Gary Finley earlier this summer. The Seagulls were beaten 4-1 by TNS in a friendly at the weekend.
Tomorrow night Rhyl host League One outfit Oldham Athletic. A report on the Colwyn Bay game will appear here later.
