A STATEMENT from Rhyl Football Club:
RHYL Football Club have been made aware of an individual who has approached businesses in the area selling advertising space in the club's official programme for season 2008/09.
We are led to believe that the individual has used a copy of the programme as a "sales aid", and has confused companies that the advertisement is to appear in the official club programme.
The club wish it to be known that no individual or company has been given authority to carry out this activity.
Only an official representative who has a Rhyl FC business card, followed by a request for payment on an official Rhyl FC Vat registered invoice, are means of ensuring this has come from the club.
The club cannot be held responsible for any businesses entering into an agreement with any outside organisations.
