NEWTOWN FIRST UP FOR LILYWHITES
RHYL will kick off the 2008/09 Welsh Premier League campaign with a home match against Newtown on Saturday, August 16.
The Lilywhites will then entertain Airbus UK Broughton in a Loosemores Challenge Cup group game on Tuesday, August 19, followed by a WPL fixture at Caernarfon Town on Saturday, August 23.
Rhyl's much-awaited local derbies against Prestatyn Town will take place on Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
The Belle Vue battle against the Seasiders will be on December 26 and the return at Bastion Road takes place on January 1.
Other interesting fixtures: Saturday, October 25 - Bangor City v Rhyl; Friday, March 13: Rhyl v Bangor City; Saturday, December 6 - The New Saints v Rhyl; Saturday, April 18 - Rhyl v The New Saints.
Prestatyn Town's first ever WPL fixture will be home to Airbus UK Broughton on Friday, August 15 (7.30pm).
