DELIGHT OVER DISTILLERY DISPLAY
RHYL FC secretary Joe Furnival has expressed the club's delight at yesterday's victory in Northern Ireland.
"It was an excellent result," he said.
"We played very well in the first half, in the second half we defended, but the overall performance was outstanding.
"We took a number of local lads over who did very well and it was a pleasing result for our temporary senior coach Allan Bickerstaff. The players also deserve credit for playing so well on a surface many of them were unfamilar with.
"Bohemian were there watching us, I met their manager (Pat Fenlon) and he was complimentary about what he saw.
"The club would also like to thank the fans who came over to support us."
