CONWY UNITED 0
WELSH ALLIANCE LEAGUE
THEY won't be winning the league but Rhyl Reserves are finishing the season with a real bang.
Last night's 8-0 drubbing of third-placed Conwy meant the Lilywhites had scored 14 goals in two matches without reply within three days.
The result moved Rhyl up to second at the expense of a team which beat them 4-3 at Y Morfa earlier in the campaign.
The Belle Vue faithful were provided with a treat in clinical finishing, Gary Powell, Michael White (2), Gareth Wilson (pen) and Sam Shorrocks scoring in the first half.
After the break Scott Millington added a pair and Alec Williams delivered the eight ace.
Awesome!
