FIRST ANNIVERSARY OF LILYWHITES ONLINE
THIS weekend marks the first anniversary of the birth of Lilywhites Online.
Since March 21, 2007, this web-blog has endeavoured to deliver the latest up to date news on the happenings at Rhyl Football Club.
Statistics show LO has been a resounding success, averaging 8,000 hits a month.
As well as the usual match reports and previews, the blog has run regular features on Rhyl FC past and present, transfer dealings, and has provided a platform for the club to publicise its news and activities.
Coordinated by Dave Jones, the UK's number one sports journalist on weekly newspapers in 2007 as voted for by the Newspaper Society, Lilywhites Online thanks everyone for their support over the past 12 months.
Since its inception, the blog has posted 387 items (an average of over one a day) and received 281 comments, some supportive, some critical, but all welcome.
Here's to another successful 12 months.
