CLASH OF THE LILYWHITES
WELSHPOOL TOWN v RHYL
WELSH PREMIER LEAGUE
SATURDAY 2.30pm
WHO will win tomorrow's clash of the all-Lilywhites? Recent results suggest it could easily be a draw as that has been the outcome of the last three meetings.
Welshpool are a much improved side under Tomi Morgan in the past couple of seasons, having finished fourth last term and sixth in 2005/06.
They currently lie ninth but still remain one of the hardest sides around to beat.
Third-placed Rhyl were denied a chance to put pressure on the top two last Sunday when their match against champions TNS was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
Midfielder Gareth Wilson could come into contention for the Welshpool game having played a couple of matches for the reserves since returning from a hernia operation.
News is awaited on Stuart Graves who has missed the last five matches through injury.
Rhyl and Welshpool have met 15 times in the WPL and John Hulse’s side lead by seven wins to three with five draws.
