CANUCK FAREWELL

By Dave Jones on Feb 29, 08 08:27 PM

RHYL have decided to release Canadian brothers Dylan and Kevin Hughes.
Lilywhites manager John Hulse said the pair have shown promise in their four weeks at Belle Vue but are not up to the standard required.

"They are no better than what we've already got," said Hulse.
"The older brother came with a very impressive CV while the younger one showed a lot of promise, but overall they are not what we are looking for.
"They both wanted full-time football but I couldn't guarantee them the first team places they required."

Interesting decision..Rhyl need skillfull players and the first oppurtunity that they get to sign some they dont. Someone from bethesda football club that knew the boys told my mate that there was interest in the younger brother from some english league 2 sides. I guess we will continue settleing for safe football rather then bringing some exciting flair into the team. Extreamly dissapointed, this could come back to hurt!
