RHYL have decided to release Canadian brothers Dylan and Kevin Hughes.
Lilywhites manager John Hulse said the pair have shown promise in their four weeks at Belle Vue but are not up to the standard required.
RHYL v GAP QUEENS PARK
WELSH CUP QUARTER-FINAL
SATURDAY 2.30pm
ANYONE expecting Rhyl to have an easy passage into the Welsh Cup semi-finals this weekend would do well to remember last season's competition, says Lilywhites manager John Hulse.
In a major shock, the Lilies went out 1-0 in the 2006/07 third round at Ton Pentre, who play in the Welsh League - the equivalent level to Saturday's opponents GAP Queens Park.
THERE appears to be some confusion about Rhyl's meeting with NEWI Cefn Druids next weekend.
The Welsh Premier fixture definitely takes place on Friday, March 7, at Belle Vue, kick-off 7.30pm.

A LATE goal from former Lilywhite Ross Stephens condemned Rhyl to their first league defeat in eight games against a spirited Welshpool Town at Maesydre.
But with better finishing and a touch of luck the Lilies could and should have returned home from what is becoming a bogey ground with the points in the bag.
RHYL RESERVES 4 (Roose 29, 61; D Hughes 76; Williams 84)
GLAN CONWY 1 (Davies 42)
BARRITT CUP ROUND TWO
SUBSTITUTE Alec Williams topped off a man of the match performance with a late 30-yard screamer which secured a best win of the season for the Reserves.
Manager Jon Stazicker was the proudest man in Rhyl after his team overcame a Glan Conwy side they had lost to twice already this season in the league.
WELSHPOOL TOWN v RHYL
WELSH PREMIER LEAGUE
SATURDAY 2.30pm
WHO will win tomorrow's clash of the all-Lilywhites? Recent results suggest it could easily be a draw as that has been the outcome of the last three meetings.
Welshpool are a much improved side under Tomi Morgan in the past couple of seasons, having finished fourth last term and sixth in 2005/06.
They currently lie ninth but still remain one of the hardest sides around to beat.

TODAY'S match between Rhyl and TNS is off due to a frozen pitch.
It was hoped the overnight frost would thaw sufficiently today to make the ground playable, but the Coronation Gardens end of Belle Vue remained in a treacherous condition and the game was cancelled just after 1pm.
NANTLLE VALE 1 (G Jones 37)
RHYL RESERVES 0
MORE away day disappointment for Rhyl as they crashed to a 1-0 defeat at Maes Dulyn where keeper Paul Lowe was the home team's hero.
With talented Canadian brothers Dylan and Kevin Hughes making their debuts and 16 players available, including first team squad members, Rhyl manager Jon Stazicker was well equipped for the test, but it was not to be.
WHEN it comes to the Welsh Premier League Cup no club can boast as successful a record as Rhyl in recent seasons.
The Lilywhites reached their fifth final in six years when they knocked out Bangor City 3-1 on aggregate at Farrar Road on Tuesday.
