RHYL v BANGOR CITY
LOOSEMORES LEAGUE CUP SEMI-FINAL FIRST LEG
TONIGHT 7.30pm
WHEN it comes to the League Cup Rhyl have certainly been Bangor's bogey side in recent years.
The Lilywhites are unbeaten in their last 12 clashes with City in this competition going back to 2000/01. Of those dozen encounters, Rhyl have won nine and there have been three draws.

Bangor's last victory in this tournament over their coastal rivals goes all the way back to 1996/97 when City triumphed 6-2 over two legs in the quarter-finals.
In overall League Cup tussles, Rhyl lead by nine victories to two with five draws.
Tonight brings the hotly-awaited 2007/08 semi-final first leg between the clubs at Belle Vue.
The teams have already met twice in this season's competition, Rhyl edging a 1-0 verdict at Farrar Road, while the return group game ended 1-1, the Lilywhites getting themselves out of jail with an injury time Lee Kendall goal.
However, since then City have won 2-1 at Belle Vue in the league and have lost just two of their last 25 matches in all competitions.
This will be Rhyl's first game without the departed Andy Moran, but it is hoped the transfer-listed Lee Hunt may play a part. Striker Marc Lloyd Williams is cup tied.
City's main threat comes from Ashley Stott and Les Davies, who both signed new deals recently to keep them at Farrar Road until the end of next season and who boast a combined total of 38 goals this term, Stott leading 21-17.
