By Dave Jones on Nov 28, 07 10:55 PM

THE line up for the semi finals of the Loosemores League Cup is now complete.
Rhyl will meet arch rivals Bangor City and Llanelli, who beat Welshpool 2-0 tonight, take on Aberystwyth Town. Dates for the ties will soon be arranged.

LLANGEFNI TOWN 2 (Kevin Lloyd 65, Chris Evans 88)
RHYL 5 (Andy Moran 30, 68, 82; Mark Connolly 58; Chris Roberts 70)
LOOSEMORES LEAGUE CUP QUARTER-FINALS
ANDY Moran's hat-trick helped Rhyl advance to the semi-finals of the League Cup at the expense of the Welsh Premier's bottom club tonight.
Aiming to reach the final of this competition for the fifth time in six seasons, the Lilywhites were good value for their win, especially on their dynamic second half performance.

RHYL 1 (Hunt 65)
BANGOR CITY 2 (Limbert 9 pen, Seargeant 38)
IN the proverbial game of two halves Bangor City claimed their first victory over Rhyl in 11 attempts.
The visitors deserved to be 2-0 ahead at half time, but the Lilywhites pulled a goal back on 65 minutes and were pushing hard for an equaliser until Lee Hunt's sending off turned the game.

THERE'S gonna be a Brownskill Breakout! There's gonna be a Brownskill Breakout! There's gonna be a Brownskill Breakout! There's gonna be a Brownskill....Breakout!!!
Ahhh good old Sham 69. If only Jimmy Pursey had been a Rhyl fan, we'd have had 100 chanting songs all of our own.

RHYL v BANGOR CITY
SATURDAY 2.30PM
IT is quite an astonishing statistic that the 26 League of Wales/Welsh Premier meetings between Rhyl and Bangor City since 1994/95 have not produced one draw.
City lead by 16 victories to 10 in the series, although in recent times things have gone very much the way of the Lilywhites who have won the last four and six of the last eight.
