BREWERTON COULD BE OUT FOR A MONTH
RHYL defender James Brewerton could be out of action for up to a month after limping off injured playing for the reserves against Glan Conwy last week.
Brewerton, 27, who has made almost 300 first team appearances for the Lilywhites, has not featured much this season, but was working his way back into contention with the reserves when bad luck struck.
"It looks like ligament damage to his knee which is a blow as Brewie is a local lad who means so much to us," said John Hulse. "He could be out for up to three to four weeks."
After leaving the field injured at Haverfordwest on Saturday, midfielder Craig Garside is doubtful for Tuesday's League Cup tie against his old club Connah's Quay Nomads.
However, it is hoped midfielder Jimmy Kelly can play some part in the tie, after missing the last four games with a knee problem.
"Jimmy's straining at the leash," added Hulse. "He wanted to play at Haverfordwest, but on doctor's advice it was decided he rest his knee a bit longer. There was no point is taking a gamble and risking losing him for another month."
