MOODY SIGNS OFF
RHYL defender Adrian Moody has decided to take a break from football.
Moody, 24, endured a couple of lengthy injury lay-offs last season, and with the Lilywhites having strengthened their defence this summer by bringing in the likes of Carl Ruffer, the ex-Newtown, Wrexham and Colwyn Bay centre back is taking a time-out.
âÂÂHe wants to spend more time with his young family,âÂ? explained Rhyl manager John Hulse. âÂÂHe also thought heâÂÂd struggle to get into the side this season, so has decided to give football a rest.
âÂÂIâÂÂd like to thank Adie for all heâÂÂs done for Rhyl and wish him all the best.âÂ?
Moody had two stints at Rhyl, playing in 25 WPL matches for the club (five as substitute) and scoring three goals.
He impressed at the back for a spell last season after the departure of Timmy Edwards, but injuries checked his progress.
