FK HAKA'S record in Europe is nothing spectacular but they have had some memorable moments.
Their finest achievement came in the 1983/84 Cup Winners' Cup when they progressed all the way to the quarter-finals only to lose just 2-0 on aggregate to Italian giants Juventus. Read on for more on Haka's Euro adventures.
RHYL have drawn FK HAKA of Finland in the first preliminary round of the UEFA Cup.
The first leg will take place at Belle Vue on July 19 with the return in the Tehtaan Kenttä stadium in Valkeakoski on August 2.
The draw was made in Nyon, Switzerland, this afternoon.
THERE has been plenty of player activity at Belle Vue over the summer but John Hulse is now putting the finishing touches to his final squad for the forthcoming UEFA Cup campaign and 2007/08 season.
Here is the current state of personnel for the Lilywhites.....
At the recent annual meeting of the Welsh Alliance League, Rhyl FC secretary Joe Furnival received the Pentraeth Honda Barritt Cup from Mrs Jean Potts, representing the sponsors.
This cup was won by Rhyl Reserves, who beat Prestatyn Town Reserves 3-2 in the final at Bangor.

AT the Welsh Premier League's recent annual dinner in Llandudno, Rhyl FC's new secretary Joe Furnival received a plaque marking the Lilywhites finishing runners-up from Llio Penri of league sponsors the Principality Building Society.
RHYL have been forced to abandon their interest in Haverfordwest County goalkeeper Lee Kendall.
Lilywhites manager John Hulse had made an approach to the Bluebirds after it was reported Kendall had submitted a transfer request, but it has since emerged the Welsh semi-professional custodian is staying put.

RHYL FC is pleased to announce its main sponsors, Anglia Building and Decorating Contractors, will continue to back the club for the 2007/08 season.
There has been a lot of recent speculation in relation to the sale of Anglia to the Homeserve group, and the effect this will have on a three-year sponsorship agreement with Rhyl.
Anglia director Mike Walsh has worked tirelessly to ensure the sale of his business went smoothly, but always at the forefront of negotiations were his commitment to honouring the partnership with Rhyl FC.
PROLIFIC striker Calvin Davies will not be joining Rhyl, manager John Hulse has revealed.
The 24-year-old front man, who has played for Welshpool Town, Caernarfon Town, NEWI Cefn Druids and Connah’s Quay Nomads in the Welsh Premier, as well as Colwyn Bay, was considered surplus to requirements at pre-season training.
“I had a good chat with Calvin and explained that if he was looking to play week in, week out, he’d been better off looking elsewhere,” said Hulse.
RHYL Reserves are still searching for a new manager following the recent resignation of Simon Sedgwick.
The post to run the Welsh Alliance side was advertised two weeks ago but first-team boss John Hulse reports no suitable applicants have yet come forward.
MICHAEL White, a midfielder/striker from New Zealand who has moved to North Wales with his family, has been impressing in training and is set to put pen to paper for the Lilywhites this week.
"He looks a good prospect," said Rhyl manager John Hulse.
