HULSE CONCEDES TITLE

RHYL manager John Hulse conceded the Welsh Premier title race is over after his team could only draw with leaders TNS.
"It hurts me to say it, but being totally honest and sensible I think that's it," commented Hulse on the battle for the championship. "It's theirs (TNS's) to throw away now."
Hulse was full of praise for his team's performance, however. The Lilies are now unbeaten in 25 league games at home, although this was their fourth successive draw at Belle Vue.

"Overall, I felt we were the best team," he said. "We set out not to let them play the flowing football they are known for and it worked a treat.
"They had good spells as you'd expect, but I felt we more than matched them and what impressed me most was our fitness."
TNS boss Ken McKenna, however, does not believe his team has yet wrapped up a third successive title.
"I don't think it's over by a long way, not if we keep playing like that," he said. "We lacked composure in the final quarter. We had a few good chances, but snatched at them all. We needed a cool head to put them away and we didn't.
"It was a horrible pitch, a horrible game and we are glad to come away with a draw."
