HORAN AND ROBERTS BACK FOR CAERSWS CLASH
RHYL v CAERSWS
Welsh Premier League - Saturday 2.30pm
SKIPPER George Horan and fellow defender Chris Roberts will be back in the Rhyl squad for tomorrow's crucial home tussle with Caersws.
Horan missed last Saturday's trip to Carmarthen through suspension while Roberts was out due to a groin strain.
Both return to a Lilywhites squad which also sees goalkeeper John Gann back in contention after a three-match absence.
However, Paul Whitfield, who has done a great job deputising for Gann, is set to keep his place.
Striker Andy Moran, who travelled to Carmarthen but remained on the bench throughout the 90 minutes, has had another few days to recover from a hamstring pull and may figure at some stage against Caersws.
Stuart Graves will not be fit in time for tomorrow, although there are hopes he will be part of Tuesday night's squad to face Llanelli.
Ankle-injury victim Adie Moody is unlikely to play again this season with the Rhyl management reluctant to risk him aggravating his problem on the harder pitches.
"It will be great to have John Gann back in the squad, although we will probably play Paul tomorrow and ease Ganny back in," said Rhyl assistant boss Neil Young.
Although leaders TNS have lost two on the bounce, Young insisted there had not been too much excitement in the Lilywhites camp about the possibility of the Saints blowing their championship dreams.
"They (TNS) still only need a point from their last two games," added Young. "They could well have thought the title was won and eased off a bit in their last two matches, but it's still very much in their hands.
"If we could have won last week (Carmarthen) and won our game in hand that would have reduced the gap to three points, but second place is far from secured yet.
"We've got three hard games left and it's paramount we win against Caersws tomorrow. We haven't beaten them yet this season so now is the time to do so."
RHYL: Paul Whitfield, Mark Powell, Chris Roberts, Mark Connolly, George Horan, James Brewerton, Gareth Wilson, Dave Cameron, Lee Hunt, Connall Murtagh, Alex Hay, Andy Moran, Ross Stephens, Paul Roberts, John Gann.
