YOUNG - "THREE POINTS ARE A MUST"

By Dave Jones on Mar 30, 07 04:16 PM

RHYL'S assistant manager Neil Young insists only three points will do for the Lilywhites when they face Welsh Premier leaders and champions TNS in tomorrow's crunch clash at Belle Vue (Saturday, March 31, 5.15pm kick off).
With John Hulse's side three points behind Ken McKenna's Saints - who have played two games less - Young could not stress enough the importance of a home victory.

"We'll be going for three points - we need three points," said the Lilies first-team assistant boss.
"TNS are the best footballing side in the league, but I felt we paid them a little bit too much respect at their place earlier in the season (lost 2-0).
"We cannot afford to do that tomorrow. We haven't given up on the title and three points are a must."
Young reported Rhyl's left-sided specialist Stuart Graves has a 50-50 chance of making the squad tomorrow.
Graves was taken off with a badly swollen ankle in the Challenge Cup final defeat at Aberystwyth against Caersws on March 18.
"He was at training last night (Thursday) and did some light work, but nothing over the top," added Young.
"At the moment he's 50-50 and he'll have a fitness test on Saturday."
The 14 players which travelled to NEWI Cefn Druids last Friday will be selected again for the TNS test, and added to the squad will be Dylan Owen, Matthew Holt, Paul Whitfield and Mitchell Booth - all four have been in fine form for the Reserves.
"We've been playing well of late." commented Young. "Apart from the Caersws game, which most people agree was a farce, we were excellent at Haverfordwest (1-0) and I thought we played well at Cefn Druids too (3-2).
"We're looking forward to meeting TNS - we always do."
RHYL SQUAD: John Gann, Mark Powell, Chris Roberts, Mark Connolly, George Horan (c), James Brewerton, Gareth Wilson, Andy Moran, Lee Hunt, Connall Murtagh, Alex Hay, Paul Whitfield, Matthew Holt, Mitchell Booth, Dylan Owen, Dave Cameron, Stuart Graves, Ross Stephens, Paul Roberts.
