SHARP UNLIKELY TO RETURN THIS SEASON
ALTHOUGH Rhyl striker Chris Sharp has returned to light training he is unlikely to feature in competitive action before the end of the season, manager John Hulse has revealed.
Sharp, 20, suffered a double leg break during the Lilywhites' 2-1 UEFA Cup defeat against FK Suduva in Lithuania last July, and the recovery process has proved slow.
This week came the good news Sharp is doing light workouts, but Hulse insisted he would not rush his hot prospect back into a match situation.
"I don't expect to see Chris involved in a game this season, the plan is to build him up for next season," said the Lilies chief.
"He's not ready to go full pelt yet and it would be pointless to rush him."
