McKENNA RELISHES RHYL TEST
CONFIDENT TNS manager Ken McKenna admits he cannot wait for tomorrow's top of the table crunch clash at Belle Vue.
McKenna knows victory over Rhyl will virtually guarantee his Saints a third successive league title.
TNS will have almost a full squad available for tomorrow's live televised tussle on S4C.
Only long-term injury victims Nicky Ward and Martyn Naylor will be missing for the Mid-Walians, who will be in action for the first time since lifting the FAW Premier Cup.
A victory for TNS tomorrow would leave the Lilywhites with an almost unsurmountable task in challenging for the championship as it would open up a six-point gap with two games in hand.
Back in November, the Saints outplayed Rhyl at Treflan, John Leah and ex-Lilywhite Michael Jackson on target in a 2-0 victory.
McKenna is savouring another head-to-head with close friend John Hulse, who he played under during his playing days.
"We've got competition for places, the lads have been playing well and we've put in some impressive performances, we can't wait for it," Ken told the TNS website.
