HUNT "UNFAIRLY TARGETTED" SAYS HULSE

By Dave Jones on Mar 25, 07 05:00 AM

ACE marksman Lee Hunt gets singled out by referees because of his extremely competitive nature, believes Rhyl manager John Hulse.
Hunt was booked for a late challenge in Friday night's victory at Cefn Druids, but Hulse thinks match officials often have it in for his top scorer.

"Their No11 (Andrew Iniabere) committed 10 fouls yet escaped a booking, but Lee was yellow carded for his first one," complained the Lilywhites boss.
"There was no real malice in Lee's challenge yet he was unfairly punished in my opinion.
"Because he always gives 100% and puts everything into his game I think Lee sometimes gets unfairly targetted by referees because of who he is."

Was a ridiculous decision by Kevin Parry to book Lee. There were far worse tackles than that in the game
