DRUIDS PREPARE FOR FRIDAY NIGHT INVASION

By Dave Jones on Mar 22, 07 12:05 AM

NEWI Cefn Druids could pull in their biggest home attendance of the season when Rhyl visit Plaskynaston Lane this Friday (March 23).
The largest crowd at Cefn Mawr to date this term was the 255 which saw Druids take on Newtown in November, but with Rhyl boasting the most fervent travelling support in the league, that figure could easily be toppled on Friday.

Not surprisingly, NEWI Cefn Druids' Welsh Premier record attendance was achieved when they played Rhyl.
That was at the start of the 2000/01 season when 611 were at Plaskynaston to see Druids defeat the Lilywhites 2-1.

NEWI CEFN DRUIDS GROUND DETAILS:
PLASKYNASTON LANE, CEFN MAWR, WREXHAM
Capacity: 2000 (300 seats)
Pitch Size: 110 x 72 yards
Record League Attendance: 611 v Rhyl 18/08/00
Admission Prices: Adults: £5, OAP: £3, Children £1
Disabled Facilities: Accommodation for wheelchairs in main stand and disabled toilets in Social Club.
Social Club: Druids Social Club is open before and after every matchday.
